During their official trip to Uzbekistan, the Acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum, Alhaj Mullah Hedayatullah Badri, held meetings with the Minister of Energy of Uzbekistan and representatives from various ministries.
The discussions took place with the Minister of Energy, the Director of Oil and Gas, the Director of the Geological University of Uzbekistan, the Deputy Minister of Information Technology, and Afghan entrepreneurs in Uzbekistan at the Technopark and the Mining Museum.
Throughout these interactions, they extended invitations to investors, emphasizing Afghanistan’s wealth of mineral resources. They highlighted the conducive investment environment following the establishment of the Islamic Emirate, welcoming both domestic and foreign investors to explore opportunities in Afghanistan’s mineral sector.
Moreover, meetings were conducted with the Minister of Energy, the President of the Geological University, and the head of the Uzbek Oil and Gas Company to explore avenues for enhancing the skills of Afghan engineers in the field of mineral resources. Visits to various factories were also undertaken. In discussions with Afghan investors, assurances of comprehensive legal support for investments were provided, encouraging them to contribute to their homeland through investments.
