Alhaj Mullah Hedayatullah Badri, the Acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum, conducted a comprehensive tour of Faryab province, accompanied by the Deputy Governor and the Director of Mines. The minister explored several mineral deposits during this excursion, including the salt reserves in Andkhoy, Darzab, and Maimana, the gypsum mines in Shirin Tagab district, and the oil reservoirs in Toti Maidan.

During his inspections, he issued specific directives to contracting firms to expedite extraction processes, ensure efficient processing, and maintain transparency in operations. The minister attentively listened to the concerns and suggestions put forth by the residents of Faryab province, pledging to collaborate closely with them to address these issues.

Moreover, he advised the mining contractors to not only focus on providing social amenities to the local populace but also to generate employment opportunities within the mining sector, emphasizing the importance of contributing to the economic growth and welfare of the province.
