Minister of Interior Holds Meeting with EU Ambassador for Afghanistan  

KABUL, Jan. 17 – The esteemed Minister of Interior, Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani, had a productive meeting with the Ambassador of the European Union to Afghanistan, Ms. Raffaela Yudiche amid her visit to Afghanistan to express her appreciation for the ongoing peace efforts, said ministry of interior.

They discussed the upcoming conference in Doha next month, which will involve countries invested in the stability of Afghanistan. Honorable Khalifa expressed gratitude for Ms. Raffaela’s support and positive contributions toward Afghanistan.

H.E Haqqani stated that Afghanistan is making significant strides towards achieving political and economic stability after enduring decades of instability and hardship. Afghans are now experiencing a sense of physical and psychological security, which has been absent for a long time.

Regarding interactions with foreign nations, the Acting Minister of Interior Affairs emphasized the importance of Afghanistan gaining membership in key international institutions. Such membership would ensure genuine representation for Afghans and facilitate the resolution of critical issues.
