KABUL, Sep. 27 – Acting Minister of Interior Affairs IEA, H.E Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani attended the closing session of the curriculum review seminar of the Police Academy., said a statement of the ministry of interior.

H.E Haqqani, Deputies of the Ministry and several other officials of the Ministry of Interior Affairs participated in this gathering.

 

Apart from H.E Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani, this gathering was attended by the Administrative Affairs Deputy of the Ministry of Interior Affairs, the Deputy of Policy and Strategy of the said Ministry, the Deputy of the Ministry of Interior Affairs for Narcotics Control and many other officials and directors.

Sheikh Muhammad Tahir, Head of the Office of the Administrative Deputy of the Ministry of Interior Affairs said about the new Islamic police training curriculum that: In the current curriculum of the Police Academy, instead of English terms, national languages ​​have been given a place and priority, and in order to complete the curriculum, there has been a significant change in the curriculum for police education and training.

 

Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, Administrative Deputy of the Ministry of Interior Affairs, appreciated the efforts of the officials in reviewing the curriculum and according to him,effective changes have been made in the said curriculum. According to Mawlawi Noor Jalal, necessary recommendations have been made to the participants in the three-day seminar regarding the curriculum.

Addressing the gathering, H.E Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani said that working for educational institutions was his greatest dream. Fortunately, that day has come and now a regular curriculum has been worked on for the purpose of training the children of the country. According to H.E Haqqani, if the police are self-sufficient in their ability and curriculum, no one can create a gap between the system and the people.

 

Referring to the sacrifices of the last 20 years of Jihad, the Acting Minister said that if the blood spilled during the Jihad is gathered, it will flow like the water of Qosh Tepa canal.

 

Addressing the security officials, he added that: Our service will reach perfection if our Islamic and Afghan thought prevails over our own mood and if we work according to them.

While giving his recommendations to the police, H.E Haqqani added that their sincerity and morals should be the highest. He also asked the soldiers to use ethics in implementing the orders of the leaders.

The Acting Minister also asked the police to take responsibility after getting full training and education. He also added that Jihad was for the freedom and prosperity of this country and should not be considered as a substitute for work.
