KABUL, Sep. 25 – Khairullah Khairkhwa, the acting minister of information and culture of the IEA, met with Asif Ali Durrani, Pakistani special representative for Afghanistan, and his delegatiin, says a statement from the ministry of information and culture.
According to the statement, both sides discussed matters relating to trade, bilateral relations, and Afghan refugee issues at the Torkham border.
Khairkhwa emphasised that concerns should be resolved via diplomacy and that political differences shouldn’t obstruct the movement of commercial good between the two countries.
The Pakistani envoy expressed that Islamabad is prepared “for any kind of cooperation” and will offer educational scholarships to Afghan students as well.
