Deputy Minister of Agriculture Addresses Global Poverty Reduction Forum in China

Mawlawi Sadr Azam Usmani, the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Livestock from the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, delivered a speech at the global conference focused on poverty alleviation and agricultural development in Beijing, China.

During his address, he urged the international community to invest in and support various sectors in Afghanistan, particularly agriculture. He highlighted the achievement of complete security in Afghanistan and the eradication of poppy cultivation as crucial steps towards this goal.
