HELMAND, Aug. 09 – Latest reports from southern Helmand province state that amid ongoing Operation Omari Mujahideen carried out attacks on Qadus Parchoy base and Haji Ahmad’s compound check post in the surroundings of Garmisr district early this morning. Attacks of heavy and light weapons lasted till afternoon hours, resulting in the said base, check post overrun and a large area secured, inflecting serious casualties on enemy while exact number of death and injury toll is unknown at the moment. All praise belong to Allah almighty as Mujahideen suffered on casualties in the operation.
