FARYAB, Mar. 15 – Amid ongoing ‘Operation Mansouri’, Mujahideen carried out coordinated attacks on enemy positions in Sang Zard, Yaka Toth, Kuhna Qashlaq areas of Pashtun Kot district last night.
According to details, attacks heavy and light which continued till early morning hours today, resulting in a military base and 5 check post overrun after killing 10 puppets, including 2 ASF personnel while leaving 10 more wounded, bringing all the said areas under the control of Mujahideen while seizing 11 horses, 1 PK machine gun, 1 binocular and 46 boxes of various kinds of ammo.
Enemy as usual targeted civilians in the area, leaving 8 including women and children martyred and 5 others wounded.
It is said that 5 Mujahideen have been wounded and 2 more have embraced martyrdom during the operation.
