Message of consolation of the IEA about casualties and damages caused to the citizens by the recent floods

We are saddened to learn that many of our compatriots have suffered personal and financial losses due to floods in Jalreez district of Maidan Wardak province and Paghman districts of Kabul province and some other areas.

According to reports, 12 of our countrymen have been martyred and 40 others are missing in Jalreez district of Maidan Wardak province alone and a number of financial losses also incurred.

The Islamic Emirate expresses its condolences to the families and relatives of those who lost their lives due to this incident, and wishes Jantul Firdaos to the martyrs and speedy recovery to the injured.

Organizations and supporting institutions of the Islamic Emirate should urgently deliver their aid to the people of the mentioned areas and use all their capabilities to provide treatment and shelter to the victims.
