KABUL, Oct. 18 – A meeting of the Council of the minister of Islamic Emirate was held at the Presidential Palace on Monday under the chairmanship of acting prime Minister Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund.

The meeting began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by a report on the economic activities carried out by the Deputy Prime Minister, Maulvi Abdul Salam Hanafi.
The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Maulvi Amir Khan Mottaqi, also briefed on important issues related to foreign trips and meetings with foreign representatives.

Necessary decisions were also taken on some important issues.

A delegation from the relevant agencies on Nadir Pakhtun Road Markets and Mine Reconstruction was formed and tasked to discuss in principle the modalities of starting construction work in the short term and submit it to prime Minister office for implementation.

Higher education officials were instructed to take serious steps to standardize the affairs of universities and oblige officials of private universities to enroll students to the relevant faculties only after obtaining legal procedure.

In order to control and organize the affairs of commission of NGO, the relevant commissions were tasked to evaluate its procedure and activities so that it is in the best interests of the country in all respects and in accordance with the policy of the Islamic Emirate.
