During the routine session of the Technical Committee of the Economic Commission, convened on February 19th at Marmarin Palace, various economic matters were addressed in line with the agenda.
Among the topics discussed was the proposal to allocate land under contract to the Alokozay Group of Companies within Kabul city’s industrial parks. Following extensive deliberations, a joint committee comprising representatives from the Ministries of Transport, Justice, Trade, Economy, Finance, Agriculture, and the Directorate of National Procurement, led by the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Office representative, was tasked with reassessing the proposal and submitting a report to the Economic Commission.
Furthermore, the committee deliberated on the financing and procurement stages of section two of the fourth phase of Herat-Khaf railway project. Following thorough evaluation, it was decided to initiate procurement procedures at the outset of the 1403 solar year.
Furthermore, the meeting also addressed matters pertaining to the properties of the National Union of Workers, constitutional considerations, the granting of licenses, and the appointment of the board of directors.
It was resolved that, taking into account the insights provided by the Technical Committee, these issues would be forwarded to the Economic Commission for ultimate approval.
