KABUL, Feb. 08 – An Indian investor held a meeting with Sheikh-ul-Hadeeth Shahabuddin Delawar, the Minister of Mines and Petroleum of Afghanistan, at the Minister’s office today, says ministry of mines and petroleum.

During the meeting, the Indian investor expressed his satisfaction with the current situation and the available opportunities in Afghanistan. He acknowledged the country’s potential and expressed a keen interest in investing in the lead, zinc, and coal mines of Afghanistan.

The Acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum appreciated the investor’s interest in Afghanistan’s mines and warmly welcomed their intention to invest. He emphasized that the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum actively encourages foreign investors to participate in the country’s mining sector. The Minister assured the investor of the Ministry’s commitment to providing legal cooperation and necessary facilities regarding recruitment processes.
