Alhaj Mullah Nematullah Hassan, the Mayor of Herat, along with his team, conducted an inspection of the ongoing asphalt project on the western road of Herat University located in the city’s fifth district. Emphasizing the importance of maintaining quality and adhering to necessary standards, he urged the officials of the contracting companies to ensure the timely and standard completion of the project.
This project encompasses the construction of a 1250-meter-long and 7-meter-wide asphalt road, along with the installation of wells on both sides. The total cost of the project amounts to 9.2 million Afghanis, funded from the development budget of Herat Municipality and executed by Kohan Karan Construction and Road Construction Company.
It is noteworthy that the relevant municipal departments and engineering teams are actively monitoring and assessing the progress and quality of development projects across the city’s fifteen districts.
