Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi chairs meeting of the Economic Commission

KABUL, Nov. 30 – According to Inamullah Samangani, the spokesman of Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi chaired a meeting of Economic commission today. meeting discussed the issues of completing ongoing projects, ensuring transparency in the process of implementing commercial licenses for traders, reactivating the Tariff Committee and better adjusting the seasonal tariff, and how to export rebar. And Standardization of imported items, especially oil and gas, and prevention of the import of low-quality materials into the country.

In order to facilitate trade and expedite customs affairs, it was decided to increase the working hours of the border customs at the request of Iran and Uzbekistan to 24 hours if possible.

Agreements between the Iran-Afghanistan Joint Committees on how to work together were also discussed by the Economic Board.
