PAKTIA, Feb. 01 -During his visit to Paktia, Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, the political deputy of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, participated in a meeting with tribal leaders and scholars. Local officials, Paktia tribal leaders, and scholars attended the gathering and highlighted the existing peace and stability in the country. They expressed their full cooperation to the Islamic Emirate.

The attendees of the meeting submitted a written request to the political deputy, urging the development of the Machalgo dam, school buildings, and improvement of healthcare services in Paktia province. Sheikh Muhammad Khalid Hanafi, the Acting Minister of Propagation of virtue and Prevention of Vice, and Hearing Complaints, criticized the negative propaganda spread by the western media. He emphasized that the Afghan people should not be swayed by foreign negative propaganda.

Sheikh Hanafi stated that the decrees and orders of the Amir-ul-Momineen, may Allah protect him, are based on Islamic principles and are necessary for establishing a reformed and orderly society. He highlighted the Islamic Emirate’s commitment to peace and stability not only in Afghanistan but also in the wider region and the world. He dismissed the United Nations’ recent report on the Islamic Emirate as false, stating that the claim made by the United Nations is far from the truth. He emphasized that no one on Afghan soil is allowed to act against the security of Afghanistan and the world.

Sheikh Hanafi also mentioned the Islamic Emirate’s positive political progress, citing the acceptance of the Afghan ambassador’s credentials by the President of China as a clear example. He added that such diplomatic achievements will continue in other countries as well.

The honorable political deputy highlighted the significance of Afghanistan’s border opening with China and the construction of a road as a crucial and historic step in facilitating commercial transactions between the two countries.

According to him, the Islamic Emirate encompasses people from all regions, languages, and zones of Afghanistan, with no affiliation exclusively to Kandahar and Paktia.
