SAMANGAN, Apr. 30 – Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate dismantled two of the enemy combat posts in Darah-e-Souf district of the northern province of Samangan late yesterday night, leaving a large number of the combined security personnel of the police and army dead and wounded.
Mujahideen took from the enemy possession 1 PK heavy machinegun, 1 rocket propelled-grenade, 1 motorbike and a good deal of ammunition and other military equipment.
In another report, a prosecutor and his guard were killed and two more were wounded in the provincial capital of Samangan province on Saturday when Mujahideen attacked the vehicle they were riding in.
