BALKH, Oct.29 – Mohammad Zahir, an alcoholic, was arrested charged with attempted murder of his entire family under the influence of alcohol in the first district of Mazar-e-Sharif, Balkh province.
He was caught with a shotgun being aimed at his family members and opening fire on them.
Luckily, no one was hurt in the shooting due to swift and timely interference of the security forces.
An inquiry has been launched into the incident and the culprit has been turned over to the judiciary for further investigation so that the culprit can be brought to justice.
