Man caught using counterfeit currency

GHAZNI, Feb. 5 –  A counterfeiter, resident of Kabul city was caught in Ghazni city attempting to exchange 3700 counterfeit dollars he had brought from Kabul city, the country’s capital.

The perpetrator was arrested red-handed by the police forces of the counterterrorism department and is still under investigation.

This comes as several attempts of fake money has so far been foiled by the security forces in Ghazni city, the capital of the province with the same name.

Similarly, 2 men were captured for using counterfeit Afghan and Pakistan currencies in Ghazni city last month.
