A private livestock farm has been established in Nangarhar at a cost of 50 million Afghanis.

Nangarhar’s Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock Chairman, Mawlawi Muhammad Wali Mohsin, recently visited the Saadat Chaparhari Company’s cattle farm.

This farm, constructed with a budget of 50 million Afghanis, houses 176 beef and dairy cows, yielding 450 liters of milk daily for the market.

 

During the visit, farm managers discussed their challenges with the agriculture department, including issues related to electricity, processing machinery, and medications. The agriculture department head expressed satisfaction with the farm’s inception and pledged to extend cooperation to enhance the livestock sector.

 

Nangarhar boasts numerous operational livestock farms, creating job opportunities for hundreds of individuals.

The Agriculture Department is actively seeking to engage investors in this sector to boost meat and milk production across the country.
