Representatives from the Ministry of Industry and Commerce have disclosed that in 2024, Afghanistan exported a total of 15,200 metric tons of medical supplies to various countries. Abdul Salam Jawad, the ministry’s spokesperson, highlighted that these exports predominantly comprised Anja and Shirin Boya products, resulting in earnings of approximately 20 million US dollars.
Jawad further indicated that these medical supplies were shipped to a range of countries, including Pakistan, Iran, China, Kyrgyzstan, India, Japan, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, the United States, Canada, Ukraine, Russia, and several others.
