BAGHLAN, Oct. 03 – Amid the rapid progress of ongoing ‘Omari’ campaign, Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate have launched large scale coordinated attacks on enemy positions in the capital of Baghlan province, Pul-e-Khumri and adjacent district of Markazi Baghlan.
Officials say that the main Kunduz-Baghlan highway has been completely sealed, a base by the name of Maktab has been overrun and the Mujahideen are advancing as the enemy flee due to low morale.
The enemy has also reportedly suffered heavy casualties, while an APC has been destroyed and another seized.
