KANDAHAR, Mar. 07 – Amid ongoing ‘Operation Oamri’, Mujahideen carried out coordinated assaults on compound of commander Nyazo and Bazar of Naishdistrict overnight. Attacks in which heavy and light arms were used, resulted in the said area and compound were completely overrun, forcing the enemy to flee towards district administration center, leaving 2 ranger pickups, 2 communication radios and a large amount of heavy and light arms behind on the battle ground. Another report says as many as 40 ANA and police gunmen of security check posts on the road to capital Tarinkot in the said area have surrendered along with their weapons and equipment afternoon hours yesterday. Mujahideen warmly welcomed them and allowed them to return to their homes. Currently the said district administration center and police station is under heavy attacks of Mujahideen the details of which will be updated later.
