Large area cleared as 3 posts overrun in Faryab

FARYAB, Dec. 15 – Reports arriving from Sheerin Tagab district of Faryab province say that, Mujahideen carried out large scale operation against enemy positions in Baloch area late yesterday, sparking clashes that lasted till 9:00 pm local time, resulting in 3 posts overrun and the said area completely purged.

It is said that a hireling commander – Abdul Rehman – has been killed; a rifle and other ammunition has been recovered.
