Following a comprehensive examination and evaluation, the Kyrgyz Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the removal of the Islamic Emirate from its roster of proscribed groups.

 

The ministry emphasized in a statement on its official website that this decision was made with the aim of fortifying regional stability. Nonetheless, Kyrgyzstan also affirmed its dedication, as outlined in the statement, to backing the global community’s endeavors toward fostering peace in Afghanistan and the wider region.
