Kidnaped Man Rescued in Kandahar

KANDAHAR, Nov. 08 – A young man has been rescued by security forces of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Kandahar province, said security offivials in Kandahar.

Esmatullah, who was kidnapped from Daikundi province 40 days ago and the Kandahar security forces rescued him from the grip of the kidnappers amid an operation in the province.

The kidnappers had demanded money from his family in exchange for release, according to security forces.

The security forces were able to rescue this young man from the kidnappers in a special operation said a security official to media.

Esmatullah’s brother, who came to Kandahar to see his brother, expressed his appreciation for the timely action of the Islamic Emirate to save his brother’s life.
