Key battalion, check post overrun in Lashkargah, equipment seized

HELMAND, Oct. 10 – Amid ongoing ‘Operation Omari’, a hireling battalion and a strategic post named Sardar Wali post located along the road between Chah-I-Anjir and capital Lashkargah were overrun after the continuous besiege of 3 days this afternoon, inflecting serious tolls to enemy as well as seizing a sizable amount of ammunition, says a report.
It adds, an enemy fleeing convoy is under tight siege of Mujahideen in Basharano graveyard area, the details of which will be updated.
