Key base, police station and 19 posts overrun as clashes underway in Gerishk

HELMAND, Jul. 20 – According to a recent report, gunfights that launched against enemy defense-lines in Deh Adam Khan and Parchaw areas of Gerishk district are said to be still ongoing.
So far, a large enemy military base and a key police station and 19 check posts have been overrun, killing several including several commanders – Basirak, Fahim and Nabi Jan – have been killed and wounded.
It is said that a sizable amount of war spoils have been confiscated while enemy is severally frightened.
