WARDAK, Aug. 1 – Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate closed off the highway between Kabul and Kandahar in Syed Abad district of Wardak province amid an offensive in which Mujahideen closed in on the enemy posts in the mentioned district.

An unknown number of the enemy joint military personnel suffered casualties in today’s fighting, while 3 Mujahideen fighters embraced martyrdom during the operation.

In another report, a roadside bomb blast ripped into a tank carrying police in the provincial capital of Wardak province, leaving those onboard dead and wounded.

In the early morning hours of Tuesday, twin blasts killed 3 puppets and left 1 hurt in the capital of Wardak province.

Similarly, a roadside bomb blast hit an enemy tank in Chak district of province and left 2 puppets injured later this morning.
