Jani Khail district falls to Mujahideen; 19 killed, 16 held prisoners

PAKTIA, July 25 – Al-Emarah News said the district of Jani Khel slipped from the enemy’s control and fell to the Islamic Emirate’s Mujahideen.

According to reports, at least 19 enemy military personnel were killed and a further 16 were captured.

Furthermore, Mujahideen seized from the enemy’s possession 40 Kalashnikov rifles, 7 rocket propelled-grenades, 6 PK, heavy machine guns, 2 DShK, heavy antiaircraft machine guns with 7 tanks, 7 military vehicles and 30 more vehicles filled with arms and supplies.

Two of the enemy’s armored tanks were destroyed in the operation.
