The Zionist regime once again launched brutal attacks on the fasting Muslims in Gaza Strip and some parts of the southern region of Lebanon on Friday, after the occupants faced harsh reactions with scores of rockets fires on their territory, just hours earlier.

Tension continued to simmer as the regime’s warplanes struck several targets in Gaza and southern Lebanon, from where the regime claimed, parts of its territory had been targeted with dozens of rockets. Violence continued to spiral on Friday afternoon, when two Israeli women have been reportedly killed and another wounded in a shooting in the occupied West Bank, after the Israeli forces, brutally entered the holy al-Aqsa mosque and beat and tortured dozens of worshippers, a move contrary to all norms of human rights.

They brutally attacked Palestinians inside the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound on Tuesday night, injuring a dozen peaceful worshipers and arresting nearly 400 others during the holy month. The attackers have been heavily armed while storming the holy mosque, where they spared no effort to use tear gas, grenades even firing rubbercoated steel bullets on the innocent worshipers.

According to the reports, the occupant regimes forces beat Muslim worshipers with riot guns, wounding many, before arresting dozens inside the holy place, where cries for help from women and children have also been heard. The obvious uptick in violence during the holy month of Ramadan as well as the beginning of the Jewish Passover holiday comes after a year of increasing bloodshed by the Israeli forces in the Palestinian territory.

The fierce attack by the Israeli on the innocent Palestinians, once again carried echoes of 2021, when an 11-day war started between the occupant Israeli forces and Hamas fighters as well as fueling fears of a wider conflagration around the region. The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has strongly condemned the crackdown, beating and torturing of Palestinians by the Israeli forces and their consecutive strikes on the civilians’ areas and called on the two sides to solve their disputes through political dialogue.

Numerous human rights groups worldwide condemned the attack and called Israel as an apartheid state. The United States has also been called, on to cease 3.8 billion U.S. dollars in annual military support to the regime. Jordan and Egypt, both involved in recent efforts to de-escalate tensions between Israel and the Palestinians, issued separate statements condemning the incident, with Saudi Arabia also denouncing the Israeli police’s actions. Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Ministry issued a statement saying the brutal attack undermines peace efforts.

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and Turkey and other countries strongly condemned the brutal attack on the worshipers. Indeed, if the Israeli forces attacks are not prevented via diplomatic channels and the rights of the Palestinians are not returned to them, such conflagrant incidents would continue even would engulf the region.

All international stakeholders including world powers should make efforts to permanently ban the repetition of such incidents and resolve the issue between the two sides based on reality, by returning the rights of the Palestinians.
