GHAZNI, Nov. 5 – The Iranian ambassador made a short visit Thursday to ancient Ghazni

Earlier in the day, Iranian Ambassador to Afghanistan Mr. Bahadur Aminian arrived in Ghazni City to visit ancient shrines and buildings.

Mr. Bahadur Aminian was warmly welcomed by Maulana Habibullah Mujahid, the acting Director of the Department of Information and Culture, along with many literati, scholars and cultural figures in diplomatic principles.

Accompanied by Mr. Mujahid and his entourage, after breakfast Mr. Bahadur first visited Sultan Mahmood Ghaznavi mausoleum, and other historical sites and shrines.

Later, on behalf of the governor’s office, Mr. Mujahid along with the ambassador and his accompanying entourage presented the Iranian ambassador and his delegation books by Amir-ul-Momineen Sheikh and Sirajuddin Haqqani in addition to some green raisins from Ghazni.

In the end, Mr. Mujahid was presented with a famed Kalma Tayyaba and some books.
