KABUL, Jan. 19 – According to Mufti Abdul Matin Qani, the spokesman of the ministry of interior, the new Deputy Special Representative (Development) of UNAMA Mr. Indrika Ratwette called on the Acting Minister of Interior Affairs IEA, H.E. Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani on Thursday in Kabul.

In the beginning, the Acting Minister of Interior Affairs, H.E. Khalifa, congratulated Mr. Andrika on his new job, and thanked the former Deputy UNAMA Mr. Daniel Andres for his good management and wished him success in his future endeavors.

Mr. Indrika described the security of the country as assuring and assured that he will try to carry out his mission well in the field of humanitarian aid.

During this meeting, discussion was held on how to help the refugees returning to the country, and how to resettle them comfortably Referring to Mr. Indrika’s vast experience in refugee affairs, H.E. Khalifa expressed his hope that there will be further improvement in UN related works in Afghanistan.
