Interior Minister Holds Farewell Meeting with Turkish Ambassador  

KABUL, Sep. 12 – Acting Minister of Interior Affairs of the IEA, H.E Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani had a farewell meeting with the Ambassador of Türkiye.

This afternoon, the Acting Minister of Interior Affairs IEA, H.E Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani, met with the Ambassador of Türkiye, Mr. Cihad Erginay.

 

The Ambassador of Türkiye described the current situation in Afghanistan as satisfactory and thanked the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan for providing good security to the embassy and consulates of Türkiye and added that they will continue their cooperation.

 

During the meeting the ambassador said that: A meeting of donor countries with Afghanistan will be held in Istanbul in the near future.

We are trying to convince the participating countries to convert humanitarian aid into development aid.

 

Also, the ambassador further added that: We are also working to increase the interaction between Afghanistan and the international community.

 

H.E Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani praised the mission of Cihad Erginay in Afghanistan, and thanked him for serving in the special historical time of our country and for his excellent mission in maintaining and nurturing the relations between the two countries.

 

H.E Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani expressed his hope that the relations between the two Muslim brother countries will become further close and broad.
