The initial preparatory session of the commission for the TAPI, fiber optic, TAP, and railway initiatives between Afghanistan and Turkmenistan took place, today says Hafiz Zia Ahmad Takal, the deputy spokesman of the ministry of foreign affairs.

Acting upon the directive of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, various ministries and key entities such as Security, Mines and Petroleum, Public Affairs, Information and Culture, Communications and Information Technology, the Central Spokesperson of the Emirate, and the Afghanistan Electricity Company convened today for a comprehensive preparatory discussion regarding the upcoming opening event for the TAPI project and several others in collaboration with Turkmenistan.

During this assembly, the commission’s chairperson and representatives from the involved entities were briefed on the progress of the sub-committees and deliberated on essential strategies to ensure the ceremony’s success.

Anticipated in the near future, these endeavours are set to be officially launched through a series of significant ceremonies.
