Recent reports from different detention centers of the country, especially from Bagram and Pol-e-Charkhi prisons indicate that officials of the prisons have amped up psychological and physical tortures of miserable detainees, mistreating them and depriving them of positive activities. They are forced to wear red fatigues, which make it difficult for them to perform prayers and ablutions. Furthermore, prisoners are banned from meeting or have limited their access to meet family members. They are inhumanly treated and provide them unhealthy food which has made many prisoners suffer from different diseases.

The Human Rights Commission of the UN and UNAMA published a report in April of the current year, accusing officials of the Kabul Administration especially the so-called officials and staff of detention centers of National Directorate of Security of having subjected detainees to tortures and extorted forced confession statements. The report says that most of the prisoners from among 496 detainees interviewed in 2015 and 2016 said that they were tortured by interrogators and signed or thumb-printed statements which they had not understood what was written on them. The officials of the Kabul Administration convict prisoners on the basis of these force confessions, which bring the legitimacy and transparency of all cases of prisoners under question. All justice-loving and impartial countries and organizations should pay attention to this flagrant issue of human right violation.

Unfortunately, numerous human atrocities have been committed in the country under the shadow of foreign occupation and during the time of the very phony democracy in the past one and a half decade. The life, wealth, honor and religious values of the people have been frequently violated. Neither, they observe Afghan traditions nor international laws but resort to every illegitimate act which may prolong their power and occupation. These atrocities have still been continuing.

These brutal acts of the invaders and their stooge allies have practically proven their slogans and human right claims to seem futile and false while giving rise to rage and anger of the Afghan Muslim nation and boosting the determination of jihadic resistance to stand up to them. No doubt, their atrocities will result into their humiliating defeat. However, for the record, we once again call upon the UN, international human rights organizations, Amnesty International and freedom-loving and justice-loving countries and personalities to raise their voice against human rights violation of the miserable prisoners in Afghanistan and thus demonstrate their impartiality and independence. Similarly, we call upon invaders and their stooges that your oppression and brutalities would never secure your success against the Afghan Muslim nation in this proud land. Rather you will become ever contemptible and face inevitable collapse. If, Allah, the Almighty wills.
