According to the Ministry of Justice, the Law on Industrial Areas, endorsed by the esteemed Amir-ul-Momineen (May Allah protect him), has been enacted and made public through the official gazette, says ministry of justice.

This legislation comprises 1 Preface, 6 chapters, 11 sections, and 67 articles, focusing on the establishment, growth, and supervision of industrial zones, both private and cooperative.

It also covers the allocation of land within these zones and the procedures for granting land to applicants interested in setting up industrial facilities. Specific directives regarding land allocation have been included.

The Ministry of Justice has emphasized that the primary objective of this law is to foster and advance Afghanistan’s economy by regulating industrial zones, facilitating private investments, and providing land for the administration, safeguarding, and oversight of industrial areas.
