This year has witnessed a notable surge in both imports and exports between Afghanistan and Iran. Acting Minister of Industry and Trade, Nuruddin Azizi, acknowledged the positive trend, highlighting the growth in trade between the two countries compared to the previous year. According to ministry officials, Afghanistan’s exports to Iran have exceeded 16 million dollars, while imports have reached 740 million dollars from the beginning of the year until the 10th month of Changsha.
Additionally, Iranian media has reported a significant increase of 123 million dollars in non-oil goods exported to Afghanistan during the first three months of this solar year. These developments demonstrate the strengthening economic ties and growing commercial activities between Afghanistan and Iran.
