KABUL, Aug. 30 – The Acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum, Sheikh-ul-Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar in a meeting with General Manager of MCC company of Miss Aynak Project expressed that completion of this project is one of the main priorities of the Islamic Emirate.

The general manager of MCC company and a representative from the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum attended the meeting, where they discussed and exchanged perspectives on the Miss Aynak project’s practical work, technical problems, and the transfer of historic artefacts.

 

The Acting Minister mentioned the start of practical work on the Miss Aynak project as one of the priorities of the Islamic Emirate and said: The Miss Aynak project is very important for the people of Afghanistan and our main goal is to mobilize the mining sector.

The Islamic Emirate is determined to complete the project as quickly as possible so that people might begin working on it practically and find employment, he added.

 

The head of the MCC firm stated that the Miss Ainak project’s starting point was hindered only by the existence and transfer of ancient artefacts, adding that his company also desired to begin the job.

 

Both parties emphasised the activity of the aforementioned project and the continuation of the meetings in order to begin the work and resolve the issues at hand.
