We reject the claim made by Iran’s foreign minister that ISIS commanders had relocated from Iraq, Syria, and Libya to Afghanistan, said spoksman of the foreign ministry of the IEA in a statement.
The security forces of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan engaged Daesh in serious and persistent combat both during and after the occupation, which caused the group to lose its distructive capacity, adds the statement.
It is hoped that if Iran has information about the transfer of ISIS to Afghanistan, it can share with IEA so that the Afghan security forces can take necessary actions.
It is worth noting that Afghanistan does not share border with these Arab countries, instead of putting the responsibility on others, it is better that the countries fulfill their international obligations in terms of the security of their borders.
The Islamic Emirate does not allow anyone to harm Afghanistan’s national security or use our territory against anyone else.
It is useful for the Iranian authorities to focus on the constructive economic, political and social relations between the two neighboring and friendly countries and peoples instead of alarming statements about Afghanistan.
