IEA-MoFA Welcomes decision of Kazakhstan taking the name of IEA off the list of banned groups

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has welcomed the decision made by President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mr. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, taking name of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan off the list of banned groups in Kazakhstan.

IEA-MoFA deems this step a significant development in the understanding of Kazakhstan in relation with the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, & calls it the removal of an obstacle in upgrading bilateral relations.

Kazakhstan is an important trade & transit partner of Afghanistan in the region & this decision will lead to enhanced bilateral relations & further economic cooperation, which is in the interest of both countries.
