IEA Foreign Minister meets OIC Special Representative for Afghanistan

KABUL, Dec. 19 – IEA Foreign Minister Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi met with OIC Special Representative for Afghanistan Tariq Ali Bakhit and the newly appointed OIC Ambassador to Kabul, twitted Abdul Qahar Balkhi, the spokesman of the foriegn ministry.

The OIC delegation said that we have appointed a new ambassador to Afghanistan, we are opening our office, setting up a fund at the Islamic Development Bank and are ready to launch a series of humanitarian assistance immediately.

Mr. Muttaqi thanked them for taking the initiative to convene a conference on Afghanistan and to discuss further development of humanitarian, economic, trade and political relations, and invited their Secretary General and his delegation to Kabul.
