    According to the Ministry of Public Health, Afghan doctors and specialists carried out a total of 9,233 free surgical procedures at Ibn Sina Hospital’s emergency unit in the year 1402.

    The ministry further disclosed that out of these surgeries, 4,778 were major operations, while 4,455 were minor procedures. This highlights the significant contribution made by the hospital in providing essential surgical care to the Afghan population.
