HELMAND, Dec. 26 – Officials say, the route connecting Kandahar province with capital Lashkargah that had been blocked off by Mujahideen for enemy since Saturday night in capital Lashargah is said to be still blocked. Enemy attempt of reopening the rout yesterday in Chargul pump area was foiled by Mujahideen during which a hireling ranger pickup was destroyed by IED attack and another one by RPG fire, leaving some 9 mercenaries killed or hurt inside.
