A senior delegation of the IEA led by Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, the administrative Deputy Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, visited the Omari camp in Torkham.
The purpose of this visit was to evaluate the conditions and services offered to Afghan individuals who have been repatriated from Pakistan against their will.
Accompanying Mawlawi Hanafi during the visit were several prominent officials, including Maulvi Najibullah Hayat Haqqani, the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Mullah Mohammad Naeem Akhund, the Governor of Nangarhar, and other governmental figures.
During his address at the camp, Mawlawi Hanafi underscored the commitment of the Islamic Emirate to its people, ensuring that all returning Afghans receive essential support across various aspects of life.
Furthermore, he urged the Pakistani government to prevent any harm to the belongings and assets of Afghan nationals.
