Helicopter shot in Ghor, district police chief seriously wounded

GHOR, Aug. 27 – A recent report arriving from Shinkot district of Ghor province says that an enemy helicopter was targeted by 82- artillery while bombing Mujahideen positions in the surroundings of the said district on Friday.
Helicopter was partially damaged and managed to reach to airbase.
In the same province the police chief of Dawlina district was deadly wounded along with his guard and unknown number of other gunmen were killed and wounded after his ranger pickup was torn apart by an IED attack in Ahangrano area of Dawlina district.
Witnesses say both legs of the said commander has broken and is shifted to Herat central hospital in critical condition.
