Helicopter shot as clashes underway in Tarinkot, 8 including commander surrender

URUZGAN, Sep. 09 – According to reports Mujahideen attacked capital Tarinkot airbase while hireling commando troops were landing by aircrafts overnight. During which a helicopter shot leaving all gunmen killed or hurt inside.
Meanwhile a hireling commander – Haji Abdul Baqi Khan – has repented his mistakes and left enemy ranks along with his 7 gunmen, handing 5 rifles, 1 PKM machine gun, 1 RPG launcher, 1 mortar tube and other war equipment, too.
Currently heavy clashes underway against Commander Abdul Qaui and commander Norzai close to ex-governor Jan Muahammad’s compound, so far 2 APC and a ranger have been destroyed and several gunmen killed or hurt. The details of which will be updated later.
