Helicopter comes under attack in Kunar; 2 killed

KUNAR, July 17 – Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate pushed back the enemy advance attempting to break Mujahideen siege of the base in Nari district of Kunar province on Monday.

Meantime, a helicopter trying to airdrop supplies came under Mujahideen attacks and was unable to provide the supplies for the enemy in the besieged base.

In the province’s Watapur district, two puppets were killed and one suffered casualties when Mujahideen conducted attacks on an army base early today.

Also Tuesday, a check post belonging to local militia came under Mujahideen attack but no losses of life and injuries have been confirmed yet.
