WARDAK, July 25 – Al-Emarah News said Tuesday heavy raged in Chak district of Wardak province after Mujahideen stormed the district center and its checkpoints early today.

A number of the enemy soldiers are said to have suffered casualties who according to locals were rushed out of the site by ambulance vehicles. An armored tank was also destroyed in today’s fighting. A Mujahid fighter is reported to have injured in the fighting.

The battalion of the enemy’s reinforcements was ambushed by Mujahideen forcing the enemy to retreat.

Sadly, a civilian was martyred and another one was wounded after the enemy pounded their homes with heavy weapons in Jalriz district of this province early today.
