Head of Turkish Education Foundation Called on Acting Minister of Education

KABUL, Feb. 02 – Head of the Turkish Education Foundation, Ali Kara Goz, met with Acting Minister of the Ministry of Education of the IEA, Al-Hajj Mawlawi Habibullah Agha in Kabul on Wednasday.

The head of Turkish education foundation said that the foundation has 49 educational centers in 8 provinces of Afghanistan, in which 4989 Afghan students are studying.

He went on saying that 1026 teachers and administrative staff are engaged in teaching and administrative work.

He added that the foundation is ready to organize seminars for improving the skills of Afghan teachers and administrative staff related to the Ministry of Education.

The Acting Minister of the Ministry of Education welcomed the head of the Turkish Education Foundation and thanked the scholars, government officials and people of Turkey for their warm welcome and promised that efforts will be made to provide the necessary facilities to the educational services of the said foundation.

It is worth mentioning that before Ali Kara Goz, Saleh Sagar was working as the head of the Turkish Education Foundation in Afghanistan.
