During their official trip to the northern regions of the nation, Maulvi Ahmad Jan Bilal, the Chief Executive Officer of Emirati Companies, Abdul Rahman Attash, the Chief Executive Officer of the National Development Company, and their accompanying team inspected the Qush Tepa Grand and National Canal, its second phase, and the ongoing bridge construction along the canal.
Maulvi Ahmad Jan Bilal emphasized the significance of the Qush Tepa Canal initiative during this visit, highlighting it as one of Afghanistan’s most crucial and strategic projects for water resource management and agricultural modernization.
Mr. Bilal commended the leadership of the National Development Company and noted that the progress achieved in the area surpassed expectations.
Similarly, Abdul Rahman Attash, the CEO of the National Development Company, expressed gratitude to the CEO of Emirati Companies for closely monitoring the ongoing developments of the Qush Tepa Grand and National Canal project. In his address, Mr. Attash assured the public that Afghan engineers are rapidly advancing the work on the Qush Tepa Grand and National Canal in compliance with all required standards.
It is important to mention that the excavation work for the second phase of the Qush Tepa Grand and National Canal is 85% complete, the dam construction is at 74%, and the construction of 7 bridges along the canal route is progressing swiftly.
